Book Recs for Women In Translation Month!

August is Women in Translation Month! Only about 3 percent of books published in the U.S. are translations . As of last year, fewer than 30% were books written by women . Changes at the Library!

Hello! We've moved some collections around so here's a look at some of the changes we've made recently at the library. If you like the new changes, let us know! We always like to hear how we can make our library a better place for you. Happy reading, Jade, Reference Librarian New Changes! 1. Nonfiction materials: The nonfiction DVDs, Audiobooks and MP3CDs have all been interfiled with the nonfiction books! 2. Graphic Novels: They have moved to a bigger and brighter spot! You'll find them behind the computers and near the TV Series & Movies section. 3.  Short Stories: The Short Stories and the Graphic Novels used to share the same space, but now that the Graphic Novels have moved out, the Short Stories have taken up that section and have more breathing room as well.  4. Staff Picks: We did have one extra column of shelves next to the Short Stories so we've decided to use it as a Staff Picks section. Find some of our favorite reads here,
