Author Spotlight: Tod Goldberg

We had a surprise visit at our La Quinta Chapter Book Club this past Wednesday from author, Tod Goldberg! We had a great time discussing with him his book, Living Dead Girl, what he's working on and more. It was such a fun morning and I couldn't think of a better person to start off a new series of posts we'll do for the blog where we'll highlight authors in our collection!
Tod Goldberg lives in the desert! He is an international bestselling author of 15 (and counting) books, including the novels Gangsterland, Gangster Nation, and Living Dead Girl. His short fiction, essays, and criticism has been widely published, including in the Los Angeles Times, Black Clock, The Normal School and the Wall Street Journal.

In addition to writing, he directs the Low Residency MFA Program in Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts at the University of California, Riverside. He is the co-host, along with essayist and author, Maggie Downs, of Open Book on KCOD Coachella FM. He is also a co-host of one of the best literary podcasts (as said by the Washington Post, The Guardian, Mashable, Electric Literature and so many more) Literary Disco, along with Julia Pistell and Rider Strong.

We were also honored to have him attend and participate in our first annual La Quinta Book Fest this past February 2, 2019.

To follow Tod online, check out his:
You should also stop by and check some of his books from the library! I've read two of his books so far and I'm very much looking forward to reading more.

Happy Reading!
