Resources for Students - 10 Ways We Can Help You

After a very different year of distance learning for students and teachers, many are going back to in-person learning this week. We wish everyone the best in settling into this new routine and want you to know we're here to help! Below you'll find 10 ways we can help you to make this your best school year yet!

Need to find sources to help with a research project? Want to read the next book in your favorite series? Looking for a certain AR book? Please visit us on Calle Tampico-- Our library staff would love to help!

With your Riverside County Library System (RCLS) library card you also have access to SO MANY digital resources to aid you in your learning journey; a 24/7 digital library, free online tutoring, test prep, databases, and more.

Don't have a library card? Visit us or another RCLS library branch to sign up for a library card. You can also go online to our website to apply for an eCard.

Here are 10 ways we can help you:

(Note: Items with an asterisk (*) are available with your RCLS library card!)

Our librarians work very hard to build a collection that reflects what our students are learning and intentionally select material that expresses different viewpoints. We have over 7,000 children's non-fiction items, 11,000+ children's fiction titles, plus a section for AR, board books for little learners, a juvenile audiovisual collection, and a dedicated Young Adult (YA) Room. Stop by and ask us for recommendations. We'll do our best to match you up with the perfect book or resource.
Free Wi-Fi is available at our library and most RCLS library branches. You're welcome to bring your laptop or other Wi-Fi compatible device to access the Internet. A library card is not necessary to access our free Wi-Fi. To access the Internet, simply launch your Web browser, then read and accept the disclaimer. Your browser's home page will appear and you may begin web-surfing.

We currently have 16 public computers available for you to access the Internet. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more are installed for your use also.

We have a large area in the Children's Library with tables and chairs perfect for doing homework or working on a group project. There are also study carrels in the Main Library for a quieter study experience. Our Study Room is available by reservation only for a maximum of 8 people per reservation. Reservations can be made up to 2 weeks in advance. Call us to make a reservation.
