New Year, New Us

Happy New Year!

We are ready to kick off 2019 with lots of great programs, new blog posts and loads of fun.

If you haven't already heard about it, please check out our blog for our upcoming La Quinta Book Fest on February 2nd, 2019! We have 10 authors coming to participate in discussion panels and if you stick around through the end of the day, you could buy their books and get them signed! It's going to be a fun day and we sincerely hope you'll join us for our first-ever book festival.

Our 2019 Reading Challenge for adults is out and ready to go! Also if you're looking for a book club to join, we have 6 adult book clubs, so check out that page too.

Also please remember we'll be closed Monday, January 21st in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Normal hours will resume Tuesday, January 22nd at 10:00AM.

Now back to the blog. Each Friday, we'll share some interesting reads or websites we've found on the internet. And if you don't know, ICYMI stands for In Case You Missed It.

What we checked out on the internet this week:

Think twice about hitting that golf ball into the ocean or river

Find out what books you should read this year based on your Zodiac sign

Book lovers! Are you upset with Marie Kondo too?

We love when these book lists get published! Do you follow The Millions website?!

What are your reading plans for 2019?

A new adaptation of Roald Dahl's "The Witches" is in the works!

Happy Reading!
